We keep the driving humane — Shimla first, then Manali, with a private vehicle and a driver who knows the hill roads — so the honeymoon is not spent in traffic. Rohtang and the Atal Tunnel are weather- and permit-dependent and can close at short notice; we book the permit where it is possible and give you Solang as the reliable alternative, rather than promising snow we cannot guarantee.
