Yes — a Dubai tourist visa can be issued in 24 to 48 hours, and in genuine emergencies within the same working day. Explera files three tiers from Gujarat: normal (about 3–5 working days), urgent (1–2 working days) and super-urgent (roughly 10–12 hours). All three depend on UAE immigration, not on the agent, so the honest promise is a faster queue — never a guaranteed clock.
The three Dubai processing tiers
Normal processing suits anyone travelling a week or more out and is what most families should choose. Urgent compresses the same file into 1–2 working days and is the tier most business travellers from Surat, Rajkot and Morbi use when a buyer meeting or an exhibition date lands suddenly. Super-urgent is the same-day tier, typically 10–12 hours, and exists for genuine emergencies — a family medical situation, a transit rescue, a contract that has to be signed. Each tier costs more than the one below it; the current all-inclusive fee for each is on our Dubai visa page, and we quote it in writing before anything is filed.

30-day or 60-day — decide before you apply, not after
Dubai tourist visas come as 30-day and 60-day, each in single-entry and multiple-entry form, and the duration cannot be changed once issued. Extending inside the UAE is expensive and sometimes refused, so the cheap decision at application time becomes the costly one later. Take the 30-day single entry for a straightforward holiday or one business trip. Take the 60-day if your dates are genuinely uncertain, if you are visiting family with an open-ended return, or if a trade fair might extend into follow-up meetings. Take a multiple-entry if you will hop to Oman, Qatar or Saudi and come back — a very common pattern for Gujarat’s trading families.
OTB (Ok-to-Board): the step that strands ECR passport holders
This is the detail that ruins express applications, and most travellers have never heard of it. If your passport is ECR (Emigration Check Required), most airlines will not let you board a UAE-bound flight until an OTB — Ok-to-Board — clearance is loaded against your ticket, even though your visa is perfectly valid. OTB is a separate step with its own small fee, and it can only be raised after the visa is issued, typically needing around 48 hours to reflect. A same-day visa with no OTB is a same-day visa you cannot fly on. We check your passport category first and build the OTB time into the plan rather than discovering it at the airport; a few carriers handle it themselves, and we confirm which applies to your specific airline before you book.

What we need before an express file can move
Express only works if nothing is missing, because a single re-scan costs you the tier you paid for. Have ready: clear colour scans of your passport first and last pages (and the cover), one recent white-background photograph, your PAN card, proof of where you are staying — a hotel booking or a host’s address — and a confirmed return flight. For ECR passports, add the OTB step above. Send them on WhatsApp and the file goes in the same hour; send them in pieces across a day and the urgent tier quietly becomes the normal one.
The one-month gap rule between Dubai visas
A rule that catches frequent travellers: after you exit the UAE on a tourist visa, you are generally expected to remain outside the country for a full month before a new tourist visa application is made. Traders who shuttle to Dubai every few weeks are the ones who hit this, and no processing tier overrides it. If your travel pattern is genuinely that frequent, a multiple-entry visa is the answer — and it has to be chosen at application time, which is another reason the 30-versus-60 decision above deserves a minute’s thought.

When an express visa is not realistic
We would rather say so than take the fee. Express processing does not help if your passport is damaged or has under six months of validity; if a previous UAE visa was refused or you have an immigration flag; if you are inside the one-month gap above; if your travel falls across UAE public holidays or a weekend, when immigration counters simply are not open; or if you hold an ECR passport and fly in under 48 hours, where OTB rather than the visa is the binding constraint. In each of those cases the fix is a different date or a different document — not a higher fee.
How to start an urgent Dubai visa from Gujarat
WhatsApp the visa desk on +91 70963 32299 with your passport scans and travel dates. We confirm which tier your timeline actually needs, quote the all-inclusive fee in writing, file the same day and send the visa PDF the moment it is issued — with the OTB raised for you if your passport needs it. Everything runs remotely, so applicants in Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Morbi and Vadodara never need to visit an office.
